The Foundation is guided and inspired by Christopher Moyes’ ethos of ”making a difference’.  We are delighted to see that the sponsorship of each student has made a difference individually, and enables them to develop and make a difference for many others in their diverse fields of endeavour. 

As seen in the individual summaries for each of our alumni, impacts are seen not only in the range of publications and dissemination of research, but in the influence on policy arising from their insights into real-world issues, and the subsequent careers of CMMF sponsored students.  

The Foundation has also supported local activities in the Durham area through Heartbeat in Seaham.
